My Generation is a drama television series that premiered on ABC in 2010 and ran for one season with twelve episodes. The show was created by Noah Hawley and executive produced by Hawley and Warren Littlefield. The series was centered around a group of high school students who were filmed for a documentary in the year 2000 and then revisited after ten years to see how their lives had changed.
The main character of the show is Steven Foster, played by Julian Morris. Steven was the popular kid in high school and the captain of the football team. He was also in a relationship with his high school girlfriend, Jackie Vachs, played by Jaime King. We see Steven ten years later finding it hard to move on from his high school days, as he is still trying to live in the past. Jackie, on the other hand, has moved on and is now successful and married.
The other characters in the show are Kenneth Finley, played by Keir O'Donnell, who was the class clown in high school and is now a struggling journalist. He is trying to prove himself in the industry while dealing with personal issues. Dawn Barbuso, played by Daniella Alonso, was the wallflower in high school who had a crush on one of her classmates.
