Nailed It! Mexico is a spin-off of the popular Netflix series Nailed It! which premiered in 2018. This series, hosted by Mexican comedian Omar Chaparro and pastry chef Anna Ruiz, is specifically focused on the baking challenges faced by contestants in Mexico. The show follows a familiar format with three amateur bakers attempting to recreate professionally-made, elaborate desserts. The contestants are judged by Ruiz and a rotating celebrity guest judge on presentation and taste. The twist of this show is that the contestants are not professional bakers, but instead regular people who have no experience in baking. As a result, their attempts at recreating the desserts often fall short of the intended result.
