Nadia decides to go on vacation to his father in Germany. Antonov is hostile and does not like Nadia's decision. She feels betrayed by all, runs to the lake and jumps into a boat. A thunderstorm begins. Nadia is saved from death by Nikolai Antonov, but she is straining and dying from a heavy load.

All premises suitable for life are burnt down by fire in the town. Yartsev wants to settle people in containers for the transport of aircraft. Alexey intervenes, there is a place in the headquarters, at least to accommodate the children, but Yartsev is relentless. A fight ensues. Terekhova arrested. Alexey is asked to sign a waiver from his sister. Terekhov refuses. They put him in jail.

For the doctor, there is no separation between Russians and Germans.
