Primal Survivor is a thrilling television series that takes the viewer on a journey to some of the most remote and inhospitable places on earth with adventurer Hazen Audel. The show debuted on the National Geographic Channel in 2016, and since then, it has become one of the most popular survival shows around.
What sets Primal Survivor apart from other survival shows is that host Hazen Audel immerses himself in the lifestyles and survival techniques of indigenous people. Audel travels around the world, spending time with Tuareg nomads in the Sahara, the San people of the Kalahari Desert, and various indigenous communities in Asia and South America.
Each episode, Audel faces a new set of challenges as he tries to survive in unfamiliar and often harsh environments. From building a shelter and finding food and water to making weapons and navigating treacherous terrain, Audel's survival skills are put to the test in every episode.
Throughout the show, Audel also shares fascinating insights into the cultures and traditions of the people he meets. From learning how to hunt with a traditional bow and arrow to helping build a temporary home from animal hides, Audel gains a newfound appreciation for the skills and knowledge of indigenous peoples.
Primal Survivor is more than just a survival show, however. It is also a celebration of diversity and the resilience of human beings in the face of adversity. Audel's journeys take him to places where modern conveniences are nonexistent and life is challenging, yet he always finds a warm welcome from the people he meets.
One of the standout episodes of the series takes place in the Amazon jungle, where Audel lives with the Sater
Primal Survivor is a series that ran for 5 seasons (35 episodes) between January 21, 2016 and on National Geographic Channel
