Reality Show is a satirical and surrealist comedy series that premiered on Showtime on April 5, 2012. Created by Adam Rifkin, the show is a multimedia extravaganza that makes fun of reality TV, pop culture, and contemporary society using a mix of found footage, animation, and live-action sequences.

The show is set in a fictional TV network called "The Reality Channel" and follows the daily operations of the network's executive producers, writers, and hosts as they create and produce various reality shows. The main characters are a bevy of washed-up celebrities, has-been actors, and aspiring contestants who are desperate for fame and fortune.

The first season comes to a close when an enraged Katherine kicks Dennis out of the house. Meanwhile, Amy runs away and finds comfort with Yvonne. When Dennis discovers the truth about Katherine's affair with Chad, he takes him hostage at gunpoint.

Good news, the network LOVES the sizzle reel and advertisers are clamoring to be a part of this show. The network has just nabbed some pretty impressive product placement deals and they insist that Mickey figure out a way to manipulate things so that the Warwicks are seen on camera using the items. Forced to comply, Mickey surreptitiously integrates the products into the show. Disaster strikes quickly as Amy is accidentally poisoned by one of the products. Mickey and his team sit watching through their all seeing eye, wrestling between the urge to save her life and the desire to not ruin their show.

The Warwick family is randomly selected by disgraced reality television producer Mickey Wagner. They are placed under encompassing surveillance and every part of their lives will compose his new show, but they don't know they are the stars of this series. Mickey believes he has found the perfect family, but they are totally boring. Mickey begins to interfere with the family, but only so much as his conceit is not in jeopardy.
