The show follows the life of Maddie, played by Jessica Sula, a talented high school party girl whose life spirals out of control due to an addiction to alcohol and drugs. After an intervention from her school guidance counselor, Maddie reluctantly agrees to enter into rehab at the Springtime Meadows facility, where she meets other addicts who are on their own paths to recovery.
The head of the facility, Cynthia McDermott, played by Alexis Carra, is determined to help Maddie and the other patients overcome their addictions by providing them with a safe and supportive environment. While at the facility, Maddie also meets new friends including Eden, played by Aurelia Scheppers, a former drug addict who is now clean and sober, and Wes, played by Sebastian De Souza, an aspiring filmmaker who is trying to move past his own struggles with addiction.
Throughout the series, Maddie navigates the ups and downs of rehab life, including group therapy sessions, individual counseling, and the challenges of adjusting to living with strangers. Along the way, she forms a particular bond with her roommate, Trish, played by Kyla Pratt, who helps her gain confidence in herself and realize her true potential.
