But Fred is about to find out for himself as he visits the beautiful New Forest region of England. He's joined by food expert Chris Bavin and both are soon indulging in some delicious pork pies, jaw-dropping vegetables and some slightly dangerous cycling.

The duo also take the plunge and enter one of Britain's oldest, and possibly coldest, outdoor swimming pools.

Austria's capital Vienna is famous for many things. But food isn't necessarily one of them. This terrible injustice is set to be rectified by food writer Rachel Khoo, whose grandma is Austrian. She indulges Fred Sirieix in strudel fit for an emperor, dumplings that ooze comfort and, of course, lashings of hot sausage. Can she convince Fred that Viennese cuisine deserves more recognition?

Marrakesh has a rich and exciting food tradition. But in recent years a tourist boom has led to a plethora of places catering for the less adventurous palate.
