Watch Special Forces: World's Toughest Test

Special Forces: World's Toughest Test is an unscripted competition series that premiered on Fox in January 2023. The show pits 16 celebrities against the challenges of an elite special forces selection course modeled after the actual British Special Air Service (SAS) selection process.

Over the course of a grueling two weeks, the celebrity recruits are taken to a secret training facility in the rugged mountains of Scotland. There, they must prove they have the physical, mental, and emotional fortitude to pass a series of intense physical and psychological tests. The challenges are designed and run by Directing Staff (DS) - ex-special forces operators from the UK and US.

The DS assess and push the recruits beyond their limits through a series of difficult trials including interrogation resistance, escape and evasion exercises, strategic questioning, and various team tasks. The recruits must demonstrate composure and clear thinking under extreme stress.

Throughout the process, some recruits reach exhaustion, fall victim to hypothermia, or voluntarily withdraw. The selection course is specifically designed to expose weaknesses in stamina, leadership, teamwork, and character. Those who do not measure up to the rigid standards of the special forces are asked to leave. Only the most determined recruits will make it through to the end.
