Back from a visit to Israel, Avshalom has come to a decision about where he wants the family to live. Annabelle meets a friend from the past who gets her into trouble.

It's decision time for Avshalom and Annabelle. They have to choose whether or not to extend her embassy contract and stay on in Paris, but Avshalom doesn't make it easy.

It's Annabelle's birthday, and Avshalom celebrates by bringing a bit of Israel to Paris. After taking Uri off to a cabin in the forest, his grandparents get more adventure than they planned.

Annabelle gets the chance to prolong their stay in France. She takes a pregnancy test but hides the results from Avshalom, who is keeping a secret of his own.

An important author comes for a Shabbat dinner. During the course of the evening, suspicions are raised, secrets revealed, and racism and hypocrisy are on display.

There's an upcoming embassy event-and Annabelle tries to persuade Avshalom to wear a suit for it. After getting into trouble with her boss, she meets a stranger at a bar.

Annabelle goes job-hunting for Avshalom. Meanwhile, her father-in-law arrives for a visit and teaches Avshalom an important lesson about shame.

Annabelle faces challenges in her job at the embassy. Avshalom suffers a case of writer's block, both for his own projects and for son Uri's preschool writing assignment.

In the aftermath of the terrorist attack, the city becomes a scary place for Avshalom. Annabelle encourages him to make the most of their new life in France.

Avshalom and his family relocate to Paris, and his wife, Annabelle, begins her job at the Israeli embassy. The transition to a new country and a new life is a hard one.
