This episodic television series shows, in chronological order, the events leading up to the salvation of a major church figure as she struggles to come to terms with the difference between the values of her family and the dictates of her church. After reading biblical texts, Janice is convinced that her family is living in sin, but isn't sure how to persuade them to change their ways.

One day, while praying in the chapel, she feels a bright light. When she opens her eyes, she can hardly believe what she sees. The Virgin Mary has approached her, and her life will never be the same.
