Unkind Women is a 2015 South Korean drama series that aired on KBS2. With a total of 24 episodes, the show tells the story of three generations of women from a family and their bonded relationships that develop over time. The lead character, Kim Hyun-Sook, is played by the legendary actress Kim Hye-ja, who is best known for her role in the movie Mother. Kim Hyun-Sook is a stubborn and headstrong woman who is known to have a difficult relationship with her two daughters, Yoon Song-Ah, played by Chae Shi-ra, and Yoon Jung-Ae, played by Do Ji-Won.

However, she is frustrated with her relationship with her husband, who is more interested in playing golf than spending time with her.
Kim Hyun-Sook, the mother, is a retired teacher who is known for her strict personality and high expectations from her daughters. She has always been critical of her daughters and their life choices, and her relationship with them is strained. However, as the show progresses, we see how the three women learn to understand and appreciate each other
